Twitter is a micro-blogging site. Twittering is a verb form made from the name of the site to signify participation.

When I actually started interacting and really directing personal comments, retweeting, etc., I noticed that people were doing the same for me without prompting! Every time someone RT’s your post it shows up on their time line. It is true viral!

It takes a lot of time to build followers unless you are Oprah and have a built in fan base. I think, along these lines, it is just one of an arsenal that can be utilized.
